Jay Francis Named New President and CEO of South Valley Chamber Author: Anna Templeton Published: August 5, 2020 Jay Francis PRESS RELEASE South Valley Chamber Names Jay Francis as President & CEO SANDY, Utah (August 3, 2020) – The South Valley Chamber has named Jay Francis as its new president and CEO, replacing Greg Summerhays, who has led the Chamber for the last four years. Summerhays has announced he will be leaving the Chamber to pursue a career in real estate with Chapman Richards & Associates. Francis will assume his new position in early September. “It has been one of the greatest pleasures of my career to serve as the president and CEO of the South Valley Chamber,” said Summerhays. “Over the past four years, our Board of Directors and chamber team have created a strong regional chamber of commerce providing great value and resources to our membership.” “Jay Francis is a perfect leader to continue the work we have achieved over the past four years. He will take the Chamber to new heights and continue to strengthen the business community in the South Valley.” Jay Francis retired from the Larry H. Miller Group in May after 35 years with the organization. He has been actively involved with the South Valley Chamber for 12 years, serving as a member of the Board of Directors, the Executive Committee, and as past board chair. “Jay is a proven leader. He has been involved in helping grow and shape our business community through his tremendous work with the Larry H.
