Each year the South Valley Chamber recognizes the exceptional efforts of community leaders. The annual Peak Awards, presented this year by Mountain America Credit Union, honors business leaders and community volunteers. These outstanding individuals have served and strengthened the community through years of dedicated service.

Small Business Woman of the Year Nominees
This award is given to a woman representing integrity and good business acumen. This woman has developed an outstanding and growing business, shows innovative products, shows leadership and integrity, increased jobs and sales, overcame adversity in the workplace, and demonstrated community contributions.

This award is given to an individual representing integrity and good business acumen. This woman has developed an outstanding and growing business, shows innovative products, shows leadership and integrity, increased jobs and sales, overcame adversity in the workplace, and demonstrated community contributions.
Small Business of the Year Nominees
Small businesses are essential to Utah’s economy and the Peak Awards recognizes exceptional companies throughout the Wasatch Front that have shown contributions to the local economy through increased profits, job creation, and creativity.
Community Service Award
2019 Honoree: Neuroworx
Neuroworx is a nonprofit, community-based, outpatient physical and occupational therapy clinic focusing on neurological rehabilitation for individuals experiencing paralysis from spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, stroke, and other neurological conditions.
Clark and Barbara Stringham Volunteer of the Year
2019 Honoree: Sean Marchant
Sean Marchant is the Sales Director for U.S. Novelty & Party Supply and is an active participant in the Chamber’s Ambassador Committee. Marchant was instrumental in the Sandy Chamber’s Young Entrepreneurs Academy and helped mentor participants throughout the entire program. He is also extremely involved in the refugee, education, and faith community – serving on multiple boards and volunteering his time throughout the Wasatch Front.

2019 Honoree: Cameron Wilkins
Cameron Wilkins is the Business Development Officer for American United Federal Credit Union. Wilkins understands the importance of involving all regions around Utah together to do business and has been instrumental in engaging members and non-members in the Chamber.
President’s Excellence of the Year
2019 Honoree: Salt Mine
Salt Mine is a co-working space based in Sandy, UT that provides a productive and beautiful environment for the entrepreneur, freelance, and small teams. As a not-for-profit, Salt Mine focuses revenue on their mission to see all entrepreneurs and independent professionals succeed. The space has hosted the Chamber’s KeyBank Business Accelerator Academy and various events throughout the last year.
