The Young Entrepreneur Academy builds entrepreneurs one student at a time. We have teamed up with DECA and FBLA to guide high school students through the process of writing a business plan, pitching to investors, obtaining funding, and launching a real business.
At the culmination of this program, students will have the opportunity to participate in a Shark Tank event where they pitch to a panel of real investors and business professionals. Those that receive 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the 3 DECA entrepreneurial categories and the 1 FBLA will be eligible to participate in the competition.
There are several ways you can support the program
- Mentor — Assist in a classroom to share your expertise
- Volunteer — Be a judge at the year-end Shark Tank competition
- Event Sponsor — Help pay for the year-end Shark Tank competition
- Scholarship Sponsor — Donate to the pool of funds handed out to students
